Myofascial Release Therapy

A 15-minute MFR session relieved chronic shoulder pain from a bicycle accident Beth had years earlier. No other therapy, in 8 years of searching, had such an immediate and long lasting affect. This prompted her to train in Myofascial I, II and Myofascial Unwinding, Fascial-Pelvis and Cervical-Thoracic with John Barnes, P.T., the father of MFR.

Gentle lengthening of the fascia allows the therapist to follow the internal lines of restriction to still points, so that your body can rest and rehydrate areas of adhesion in the connective tissue. In these still points, your body’s innate healing ability does it’s work by releasing energy stored from trauma and by bringing blood - with its incredible healing elements - to the area.
